USATU and UEC signed cooperation agreement on first day of "Army-2020" Forum

On August 24, a cooperation agreement was signed between the United Engine Corporation (UEC) of Rostec State Corporation and Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) within the framework of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum. The document was signed by the General Director of JSC UEC A.V. Artyukhov and the Acting Rector of USATU S.V. Novikov.

Cooperation is aimed at expanding the strategic interaction of the parties in the field of research, development and training activities. The parties agreed on joint research in the following areas: aircraft engines, energy, smart robotic, information and telecommunication systems, control systems, energy converters, as well as in the field of new materials. USATU and UEC also plan to create joint engineering centers and laboratories.

“Therefore, we expect that the scientific competence of USATU will have a positive effect on the level of technical perfection of the products created at the UEC,” A.V. Artyukhov commented on the event.

“We have been cooperating with the United Engine Corporation for many years. Its subdivision in Bashkortostan - Ufa Engine-Building Production Association - is our long-time strategic partner. We have always been like-minded in matters of training highly qualified engineering personnel and carrying out innovative research and development work”, Sergey Novikov underlined.
