About 300 gyms in rural schools will be repaired in Bashkiria

Until 2024 in Bashkiria, it is planned to modernize sports facilities in 288 rural schools, the press service of the regional Ministry of Education and Science reports.

The corresponding agreement for the implementation of this large-scale project between the republican government and the Ministry of Education was signed earlier.

"The project involves the renovation of gyms and grounds, as well as the development of school sports clubs," the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkiria explained and added that only for the upcoming new academic year in the region it was planned to renovate 43 school gyms in villages and small towns.

To date, the republic's municipalities have concluded about 100 contracts and agreements for the repair of school gyms and the purchase of sports equipment.

The large-scale project is being implemented within the framework of the national projects "Demography" and "Education", developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
