"Wonderful bees that give most unreal "miele"" - Italian about Bashkir honey

Showman, actor, cook from Italy Federico Arnaldi came to Bashkiria to take part in the filming of the popular show "Poedem, poedim!" of NTV TV channel. From August 10 to 15, he traveled around the republic, visited tourist sites accompanied by a film crew. In addition to getting acquainted with the culture and traditions of Bashkiria, the host simultaneously made gastronomic discoveries.
The first shooting day of the program took place in Ufa. The Italian guest visited the historical places and sights of the city, the creative space "Art-Kvadrat", and also met with the shoe-maker Andrey Grigoriev. On the same day, he tasted the dishes of Bashkir cuisine in one of the restaurants in the capital.
For the remaining four days, Federico Arnaldi managed to visit the Muradymovskoye Gorge, the Mount Toratau, the Yumaguzinskoye reservoir, the apiary, even the Apple Spas festival, which was held in Birsk.
"Your language is very interesting, your culture is fascinating, in general, Bashkortostan itself is interesting. We were everywhere: in the forests, in the mountains. I saw the reservoir – all this I will remember forever. We also visited the gorge, Mount Toratau. I climbed to the very top," he shared his impressions.
The Italian also tried to get honey in the traditional way for the Bashkirs. Later he said that for the first time, he ate honey with pleasure in Bashkortostan.
"Your lovely bees give the most unrealistic 'miele' - in Italian, 'honey' - in English. This is the first time in my life when I eat honey with pleasure. You will not believe it, the Italian is such a strange man, not a big fan of honey, but Bashkortostan has changed my mind", the guest admitted.
According to the press service of the State Committee for Tourism RB, the release of the program "Poedem, poedim!" will be shown on TV already in October this year.
