Bashkortostan doctors who worked with COVID-19 patients returned from Kyrgyzstan

A group of medical workers of the republic headed by Deputy Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Evgeny Kustov has returned from Kyrgyzstan today. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The doctors were sent to the Kyrgyz Republic to help to combat the new coronavirus infection. According to the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan Evgeny Kustov, the work was carried out in 31 medical institutions of the country in three main areas, including training doctors in observing the rules of biological protection and anti-epidemic regime, guidelines for amending clinical protocols for treating patients, developing a list of necessary measures to prepare the country's health care system for a possible worsening of the epidemiological situation.
"We visited all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, the two largest cities of the republic. It was not easy; we had patients of varying severity," said the head of the group Evgeny Kustov. "At a meeting in the government, the President of Kyrgyzstan thanked us for the work done, we responded with gratitude for the warm welcome. We are missing our home and our republic".
Russian specialists examined more than 4 thousand people, discharged 615 people from hospitals, prepared 594 people for discharge.
Recall that earlier doctors from Bashkortostan traveled to help colleagues and patients with the new coronavirus infection in Karachay-Cherkessia and the Amur Region.
