Radiy Khabirov handed over keys to new mobile mammographs to health care professionals

Health care professionals received the keys of three mobile mammography rooms "Mammoexpress", as well as the keys of three "Lada" cars from the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. This was reported by the press service of the Head of the Region.

Mammoexpress vehicles will go to the cities of Ufa, Oktyabrsky, and Sterlitamak. The Lada cars are intended to be used at Ufa polyclinics.

"Handing over the keys to medical equipment on the square in front of the House of the Republic is becoming a good tradition," said Radiy Khabirov. "Today we are giving doctors new mobile mammography units. Mobile diagnostic tools are very important for our large, extended republic, with a great number of villages and settlements."

As the Head of the Region emphasized, breast cancer is a big problem, but it can be effectively treated if detected at an early stage.

Radiy Khabirov examined the new equipment, assessed the working conditions of the medical staff.

Mobile complexes mounted on the MAZ chassis are equipped with all the necessary equipment for independent use, including as part of the "Health Train" campaign.

This year, Bashkiria acquired eight mobile mammography units for a total of 162 million rubles. Medical professionals received five of these mobile mammographs on July 7.
