22% of COVID-19 cases were complicated by community-acquired pneumonia in Bashkiria

The growth rate is 0.5%, the average for 7 days is 3.0%.
253 people are treated in hospitals, 21 patients are in serious condition, four of them are connected to lung ventilators. 1196 people are on outpatient treatment.
According to the regional Rospotrebnadzor, of all COVID-19 cases in the region, 1619 patients were diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia. This is 22.5% of the total.
About 60-70 cases of pneumonia are registered in the republic every day. Experts explain it by the increase in the number of examinations. Often, patients admitted to hospitals with pulmonary disorders are diagnosed with “community-acquired pneumonia,” and the test for coronavirus shows a negative result. People die from pneumonia more often than from COVID.
Over the past 24 hours, 84 residents of Bashkortostan were diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia. At the same time, there is an active tendency towards an increase in the number of recovered - more than 130 people a day recently. From 12 to 13 August, 134 people were discharged from hospitals as recovered.
