Leo Bokeria: "Bashkortostan is exemplary in every respect"

The All-Russian Forum "Nation Health as the Basis of Russia's Prosperity" has started in Moscow.

The Republic of Bashkortostan presented its achievements in the field of healthcare, and also shared its experience of building the Republican Infectious Disease Center in a record time of 55 days.

At the exhibition stand of Bashkortostan, a model of the new Republican Infectious Disease Center with interactive visuals is presented, as well as a model of the resuscitation and intensive care ward with equipment: beds, a patient monitor for measuring pressure, respiration, temperature, infusion racks, an intensive care console, a lung ventilator.

The guests of the forum visited the exhibition stand, and the President of the National Health League, Academician Leo Bokeria handed over the republic' representatives a letter of gratitude "For the contribution to the improvement of the population and support for the All-Russian Forum "Nation Health as the Basis of Russia's Prosperity".

"The Republic of Bashkortostan is exemplary in all respects: in health care, and sports, and in the aspect of developing the country's intellectual potential", Leo Bokeria said about the Republic of Bashkortostan during his tour of the forum exhibition.

The achievements of Bashkir medicine were presented by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Bashkortostan Government Andrey Nazarov, who spoke as a speaker at the plenary session of the forum "Protecting and strengthening the health of the population of the Russian Federation amid new challenges".

The post-coronavirus reality makes its adjustments to the functioning of state regulation, the health care system, and the life processes of the population as a whole.

On this occasion, Andrey Nazarov voiced several areas that should be paid close attention. Among them are the training and education of medical personnel, the mass production of PPE in the region, the development of pharmaceuticals, and the simplification of procurement procedures for the construction of medical institutions.

Besides, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Bashkortostan Government proposed to extend additional payments to medical workers until the end of this year.

The All-Russian Forum "Nation Health as the Basis of Russia's Prosperity" is organized by the All-Russian public organization "League of the Health of the Nation" and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
