USATU students will take internships in Germany, Italy and Japan with Russian President scholarship

Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) students from the Faculty of Emergency Situations Protection won the All-Russian competition for scholarships of the President of Russia to study abroad. In the 2020/21 academic year, 7 students of the faculty will be trained at universities in Italy, Germany, and Japan. No other universities of Bashkiria were included in the number of scholarship holders.

“I am glad that internships abroad have become traditional for students of our university. For several years in a row, USATU students have won presidential scholarships and successfully undergo internships abroad”, the USATU Acting Rector Sergey Novikov commented on the issue.

Students will gain new knowledge and experience in the field of soil science, natural resource management, landscape development, and will also be engaged in research on several crucial environmental issues, including the processing of sugar production waste to obtain pectin, rational use of water and climate change.
