The Russians are asking the authorities to pay 10 thousand rubles for children in August too. A petition has been posted on the Internet, and currently, more than 216 thousand people have signed it.

In June, Russians raising children under the age of 16 received a lump sum payment of 10,000 rubles. The payments were conceived as a support measure in a crisis situation amid the pandemic. In July, payments were made again.

The author of the petition, Natalya Busarova, in the petition addressed on behalf of all parents, explains that on the eve of the new school year, financial assistance would be very useful in August.
