In this regard, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, at a briefing session in the government RB on August 3, instructed the chairman of the State Transport Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alan Marzaev to be in constant contact with the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"It is crucial that at the next stages of restrictions lifting, when the number of countries increases, our airport will begin to open up for abroad flights slowly. We have flights to Vienna, Istanbul, etc., we have a lot of necessary meetings with our Turkish colleagues, so please, monitor the situation. Our airport is quite efficient - let our top managers do their job", said Radiy Khabirov.
