Coronavirus cases exceeded 6850 in Bashkiria

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 6,851 cases of infection with a new coronavirus infection have been registered in the region. The increase over the past day amounted to 35 people, the Health Ministry RB Maxim Zabelin said at a briefing session in the republican government.

The COVID-19 prevalence rate in the region is less than one or less than 0.7 percent.

“Currently, 187 people are undergoing inpatient treatment. Five of them are in a satisfactory condition, 144 are in a state of moderate severity, and 38 are in a serious condition. 1,440 people receive outpatient treatment. No fatalities have been registered per day,” stressed Maxim Zabelin.

In total, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in Bashkiria, 5201 people have been discharged from hospitals as recovered.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, at the same meeting in the government, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced that the republic was not ready for the second stage of lifting restrictions due to COVID-19.

According to him, the current situation with regard to the coronavirus in the region is steady, but there are no significant improvements.
