Bashkiria Emergency Ministry warns residents of squally wind and thunderstorms

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkiria warns residents of the republic about worsening weather conditions. According to weather forecasters, on August 4, occasional thunderstorms are predicted in the region, with wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s.

On this day, intermittent scattered rains are likely with the south-west wind with a transition to the north-west, moderate, with strong gusts during thunderstorms. The air temperature at night will drop to 12-17 C, in the daytime 22-27 C, in the south up to 32 C.

We add that on the Beaufort scale, wind gusts from 17 to 20 m/s are called "gale". This wind can break tree branches. Such weather is dangerous for water transport.
