Distance learning in schools of the Russian Federation will not be introduced; the academic year will begin on September 1 as usual. This was announced on Monday at a briefing by Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
“We are getting ready for all schools to be open; traditional parades will be organized. I want to emphasize that we are talking about the traditional, classical form of education from September 1. We do not plan to introduce distance learning,” the head of the Ministry of Education told TASS.
He also noted that in the context of the coronavirus spread, the training would be organized using the experience gained during the Unified State Exam.
Earlier it was reported that the decision on the format of classes in Russian schools would be made on August 20 for each region separately.
