Number of COVID-19 infected exceeded 6.6 thousand people in Bashkiria

Over the past day, the diagnosis of the new coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 36 residents of Bashkiria. Thus, the number of people infected with COVID-19 has reached 6,607 people since the beginning of the pandemic in the republic, the Minister of Health of Bashkiria Maxim Zabelin stated in his report at a briefing session in the regional government.

“There are 1536 patients on outpatient treatment, 204 in hospitals. 35 people are in serious condition,” the minister said.

According to the head of the department, 4845 people have been discharged from hospitals since the spread of the new coronavirus infection in the republic.
