Medicines for new coronavirus treatment will be enough for two months in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, 163.1 people per 100 thousand of the population are infected with the new coronavirus infection. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic Maxim Zabelin, today, 43% of the bed capacity is available for COVID patients in hospitals in the region.

"The required supply of drugs for the treatment of COVID-19, personal protective equipment, disinfectants is sufficient for two months," the head of the department reported.

After that, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, clarified with the minister about resolving issues related to financing the purchase of medicines. Maxim Zabelin assured that there would be no problems with it.

Health Minister clarified that today in the new infectious diseases center near Ufa (Zubovo), 302 beds are occupied out of the available 340, 28 people are in the intensive care unit.
