34 patients with COVID-19 are in serious condition in Bashkiria

243 residents of Bashkiria remain in the hospital with a diagnosis of the new coronavirus infection. The condition is assessed as severe in 34 of them.

According to the republican Ministry of Health, 8 people need the support of lung ventilators. There are 1,393 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 on outpatient treatment, as of July 17.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health, is 20 people.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the number of discharged patients recovered from COVID-19 was 214 per day. 60 new cases of the coronavirus infection were also registered per day. The total number has reached 6194.

Besides, Bashkiria keeps statistics on the incidence of community-acquired pneumonia. The number of cases with community-acquired pneumonia per day is 73 people. 91 with pneumonia were discharged per day.
