One of departments of Kuvatov Clinical Hospital is locked down due to coronavirus in Ufa

In Ufa, one of the departments of the Kuvatov Clinical Hospital was quarantined due to the coronavirus. Sophia Aleshina, the press secretary of the Ministry of Health RB, told Bashinform News Agency that quarantine measures had been introduced in respect of obstetric and gynecological departments since July 8. This is due to the suspicion of COVID-19 in a hospital employee.

“The staff and contacts were tested, and sanitizing is going on in the department”, the representative of the ministry said.

As previously reported, in the republic, the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital became a hotbed of the coronavirus spread. The situation with COVID-19 infection in the Republican Clinical Hospital is supervised by the Prosecutor General. During the audit, prosecutors assessed compliance with sanitary and epidemiological legislation, as well as the adoption of the necessary measures by officials of regulatory authorities and the regional health authority. 1200 patients and doctors were quarantined at the Kuvatov Regional Clinical Hospital. About 3,000 people who were contacted by doctors and patients of the hospital got into the risk zone for the COVID-19 infection.
