More than 400 patients with COVID-19 are in hospitals of Bashkiria

405 people are now being treated for the coronavirus infection in the hospitals of Bashkiria, 29 of which are in serious condition, the Republican Ministry of Health reported.

1,701 people are treated on an outpatient basis with a mild form of the disease.

“Over the past day, 157 people were discharged as recovered. A total of 3,520 people were discharged. Active patients - 2 106 people. No new deaths from COVID-19 were registered over the past 24 hours, the death toll is still 19 people,” the press service of the department emphasized.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, a total of 5731 cases of the coronavirus infection have been registered in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the number of patients with COVID-19, Bashkiria is now ranked 25th in Russia.

Meanwhile, 227 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were recorded in the region per day. All cases were examined on COVID-19. Conversely, 107 recovered patients were discharged from hospitals.

Since March 15, 11,141 cases of community-acquired pneumonia have been registered in Bashkiria.
