Outbreaks of the coronavirus are observed at large enterprises in Bashkiria, the media reported it according to the plant employees. As Mediakorset news outlet learned, since the beginning of the pandemic, 77 people got infected at the UMPO plant since the pandemic, 44 recovered, and no one was seriously ill. The plant sent elderly people and people with chronic diseases to self-isolation.

BSC employees told Ufa1 that in only one workshop, in their opinion, 12 people got sick. This is not stated officially, the company’s administration is taking preventative measures: thermal viewers are installed, disinfection is carried out, personal protective equipment and vitamins are given out.

Gorobzor became aware of the two-week quarantine of the Demskaya wholesale base, where small businesses from all over the republic make purchases - four tenants got infected.

Rospotrebnadzor does not comment on these cases.

The Head of Bashkortostan spoke about local outbreaks at industrial enterprises at a briefing session in the Government on July 6.
