103 couples played wedding on Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity in Bashkiria
On July 8, in Bashkiria of this year, 103 couples celebrated weddings. As explained by the State Committee for Justice, the number of marriages directly depended on the day that the newlyweds chose - Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, also known as the Peter and Fevronia Day.
According to the department, in the capital of the republic 23 registrations of marriage were carried out. The largest number of marriages was registered in the registry office of the Kirov neighborhood of Ufa - 11.
12 marriages were registered in Tuymazy, 8 marriages in Sterlitamak, 4 marriages were registered in the cities of Neftekamsk and Kumertau. Of the regions of the republic, the Sterlitamaksky district is the leader - 6 marriages. In Iglinsky, Ilishevsky and Miyakinsky districts had 3 marriages each.
It is noted that last year in Bashkiria, only 15 families were created on July 8.
