More than 10 thousand people had pneumonia in Bashkiria since March

Since March 15, almost 10.3 thousand people have become ill with community-acquired pneumonia in Bashkiria, as stated by the republican Ministry of Health.

Over the past day, 38 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were detected in the region, 27 people were discharged from hospitals.

For comparison: according to the Ministry of Health on July 1, 177 people were hospitalized with a diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia per day. And, on the contrary, 102 people were discharged from hospitals with recovery.

As Bashinform previously reported, in the first quarter of this year, 2129 cases of pneumonia were recorded in Bashkiria, compared to 3631 cases in January-March 2019.

And in 2018, over 23 thousand people fell ill with community-acquired pneumonia in the region for the whole year.
