Free social taxi is launched in Ufa

Social taxi service has been launched in Ufa, the regional Ministry of Labor informs.

Deafmobil social taxi services can be used free of charge five times a month by the group I invalids, children with disabilities, and their accompanying persons.

“Deafmobile drivers leave for orders daily without interruptions and days off from 7 am to 10 pm. When boarding, the passenger must present a disability certificate and an identity document, ”the department’s press service added.

Applications for taxi services are accepted from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm by phone: 8 (347) 284-55-22 and 8-963-894-14-31.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported, the project is being implemented by the Regional Organization of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf in RB with grant funds from the Head of the Republic for the civil society development with the support of the Ministry of Labor of Bashkiria.

According to the latest data, in Ufa, there are more than 9 thousand disabled people of group I and children with disabilities.

The social project aims to increase the transport accessibility of social facilities for people with disabilities.
