COVID-19 number reached 5,497 in Bashkiria

The number of residents of Bashkiria infected with COVID-19, according to data as of July 3, reached 5,497. During the day, 47 people got sick with COVID-19 in the region, according to the portal stopkoronavirus.ru.

The number of deaths from the coronavirus in the republic over the past day is not reported, according to official figures, it is 18 people for the entire time. The number has not changed over the past few weeks.

According to the headquarters for combatting coronavirus infection, 3 201 people recovered in the region, 57 in the last day. 2,278 people still receive medical treatment.

In Russia, 6,718 COVID-19 cases were detected per day, 176 fatal outcomes. In total, 667,883 people were infected with the coronavirus in the country. Over the entire period, 9 859 people died from COVID-19.
