Urban Forum: tourist flows will increase between Moscow and Bashkiria

Important documents in the field of tourism were signed as part of the International Urban Forum “Territory of the Future. View from the Heart of Eurasia ”, held in Ufa on June 30. So, a cooperation agreement was concluded between the Moscow City Tourism Committee and the State Tourism Committee RB.

The document, signed by Tatyana Sharshavitskaya, First Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Tourism Committee and Salavat Nafikov, Chairman of the State Tourism Committee RB, suggests an increase in mutual tourist flows between the Republic of Bashkortostan and the city of Moscow. The parties intend to promote the formation of tourist routes with visits to tourist resources located in the republic and the capital.

The second document, which is of great importance for the development of the tourism sector, was signed in Ufa between the “Project Office for Tourism and Hospitality Development of Moscow” non-profit organization and the Union of Tourism Industry and Hospitality Organizations of the republic. The agreement, concluded by Moscow guest Yevgeny Pisarev and the host represented by Ildar Bikkuzin, provides for a pilot project for the exchange of tourist groups. So, Muscovites from among the older generation will be able to visit Bashkiria under the program of recreational and health tourism, and students of our republic will visit Moscow as part of the innovative educational and tourist project “City of Discoveries”. Cooperation in the tourism sector will resume after the improvement of the epidemiological situation in each of the regions.

The International Urban Forum “The Territory of the Future. View from the Heart of Eurasia ”was the first large-scale event in Russia, organized after the relaxation of restrictions in connection with the coronavirus spread. 50 international and Russian experts are discussing new outlines of post-coronavirus reality in Ufa.
