International Urban Forum will bring together 50 Russian and international experts in Ufa

On June 30, the First International Urban Forum "Territory of the Future. "View from the heart of Eurasia". It will be the first large-scale event in Russia, organized after the relaxation of restrictions in connection with the coronavirus spread.

Representatives of government, business, and potential investors will come to Ufa to discuss new outlines of the post-coronavirus reality of urban spaces and trends in public administration of territories.

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Utility Services of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection RF Olga Batalina, the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the Moscow Center for Urban Studies Head, director of the Center for Urban Studies of the Faculty of Economics, Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov Sergey Kapkov will speak at the plenary meeting of the Forum.

The Forum will present the experience and expertise of the most effective urban improvement and development projects from all over Russia, as well as international cases. A separate block will be devoted to the achievements of Bashkortostan, which, in the context of the fight against coronavirus, has maintained the scope of improvement programs, as well as has strengthened support for SMEs and local producers having applied restrained self-isolation measures.

On June 30, within the framework of the business program, the plenary meeting "Public Administration for People", as well as more than ten working sections, will be held. They will be divided into four main tracks — "Development of human resources — city, country, world development", "From national projects to private initiatives", "Global agenda of business and state", "Hospitality industry".

The event is organized according to the new special safety standards of the World Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). For all participants, four test points will be organized at the Forum. "This will be quite a serious insurance for us," said the Head of the Republic.
