Bashkiria sanatoriums will accommodate vacationers only after their testing for COVID-19

The health resorts of Bashkiria will open for all comers since June 29. However, to minimize the risks of infection, the reception of vacationers will be carried out only with results of testing for COVID-19, received no later than two days before the date of departure to the sanatorium.

Andrei Nazarov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan, noted that currently, most resorts worked as observation centers for shift workers. So, it is essential to take all measures for the timely, and most importantly, safe, launch of institutions. The sanatoriums should carry out the full range of disinfection measures. If there are signs of the disease, vacationers will be placed in an infectious diseases hospital, and their contacts will be quarantined.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Family, Labor and Social Welfare Lenara Ivanova noted that a decree was also being developed on organizing recreation for medical specialists, social workers, employees of operational services, and volunteers in the republic’s sanatoriums using so-called health certificates.

“The sphere of recovery is still in demand in the conditions of the coronavirus. Bashkortostan has always been famous for its health resorts and should not leave this market. Therefore, it is important to provide all the opportunities for recreation and treatment of citizens,” concluded Andrei Nazarov.
