First international urbanization forum will be held in Ufa offline

Russia resumes event activities. The first offline forum will focus on urbanization and urban development. It will be held in Ufa on June 30.

The event will be organized by the new special safety standards of the World Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Representatives of government, business, and potential investors will come to Ufa to discuss new outlines of the post-coronavirus reality of urban spaces and trends in public administration of territories.

According to the press service of the forum, the Minister of Construction and Housing and Utility Services of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova and others were invited to participate. The forum will present the experience and expertise of the most effective urban improvement and development projects from all over Russia, as well as international cases. A separate block will be devoted to the achievements of Bashkortostan, which, in the context of the fight against coronavirus, has maintained the scope of landscaping programs, as well as has strengthened support for SMEs and local producers having applied restrained self-isolation measures. Organizers of the offline event: The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Moscow Center for Urbanism.

Co-Chairs of the "Territory of the Future. View from the Heart of Eurasia" Forum will be the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Alexander Sidyakin, and the head of the Moscow Center for Urban Studies, the director of the Center for Urban Studies, Faculty of Economics, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University Sergey Kapkov.

The forum will be the first large-scale event in Russia, organized after the relaxation of restrictions in connection with the coronavirus spread.

On June 30, within the framework of the business program, the plenary meeting "Public Administration for People", as well as more than ten working sections, will be held. They will be divided into four main tracks - "Development of human resources - city, country, world development", "From national projects to private initiatives", "Global agenda of business and state", "Hospitality industry". Live streaming of business events will be available. The forum's public program also promises to be intensive. Special activities within the framework of the urban forum will be organized for children who can feel themselves like creators of the urban environment and architects, take part in masterclasses.
