Republican Oncology Center received new high-tech medical equipment

As part of the “Combating Oncological Diseases” regional project of the “Healthcare” national program, the Republican Clinical Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health received a ScanScope CS - a scanning microscope (micro preparation scanner).

The new equipment will automate the stages of loading, identification, mapping, determining the scanning area, scanning pathomorphological preparations. And it will also visualize them on computers of remote specialists, including for teleconsultation.

The received micro preparation scanner introduced into the system of medical care for cancer patients will help to improve the quality of specialized care at the outpatient stage, which will lead to an increase in the number of organ-preserving surgical interventions, increase patient survival and improve their quality of life.
