Sharansky district of Bashkiria will host World Folkloriada

The central square of Sharan will be modernized and the adjacent park will be landscaped to become one of the venues for the World Folkloriada. This was announced by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov during his working trip to the municipality.

In the district center, the head of the region examined the progress of the “Mourning Mother” public garden reconstruction as part of the “Modern Urban Environment Formation” program. The total funding pf the project was 5.5 million rubles, of which 5.1 million were from the federal budget. According to the head of the municipality, Ilgiz Samigullin, memorial steles to the Heroes of the Soviet Union Mikhail Egorov, Zainulla Mustakimov, Mirgay Farkhutdinov, Leonid Tsibizov, Dmitry Karmishin and the full cavalier of the Order of Glory Salih Sabitov - the natives of the district were installed here. Radiy Khabirov, along with the head of the district, laid flowers at the memorial, having honored the memory of those killed on the fronts of World War II. The modernization of the central square and the park adjacent to it continues in Sharan. "We will assist in accomplishing the square and make here one of the venues of the World Folkloriada to be held next year,” the Head of the Republic marked.
