Russians will have two short working weeks in June

Galina Bakhshieva
In June, Russians are going to have two short working weeks - in connection with the celebration of Russia Day and the Victory Day parade, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Ministry of Labor.
First, Russians will have a long weekend from June 12 to 14. At the same time, the working hours on June 11 will be reduced by one hour.
Besides, Russian President Vladimir Putin previously announced that the Victory Day parade postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic would take place on June 24, the day when the “historical parade of winners” was conducted on Red Square.
Considering that June 24 will be non-working, but payable, June 23 preceding it is not considered pre-holiday, so the working hours are not reduced.
