Occupancy rate of infectious hospitals has increased almost two times in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, after the relaxation of the self-isolation regime, the occupancy rate of infectious hospital bed capacity increased 1.8 times, from 27% to 48%. As the «Ъ-Ufa» reports, referring to the data of the Ministry of Health RB, during the first week of the regime’s relaxation, by May 19, the hospital occupancy increased from 27 to 41%, and by May 27 - to 46%.

It is noted that the number of identified COVID-19 carriers during this time in Bashkiria also increased 1.8 times - from 1.65 thousand to 2.94 thousand people. According to the Minister of Health RB Maxim Zabelin, as of June 1, infectious hospitals were filled up to 48%.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported, over the last day, the increase in new cases of COVID-19 infection amounted to 92 people. A total of 3,501 patients with COVID-19 were identified in the republic. 989 patients are treated in hospitals under the supervision of doctors, 1245 – are undergoing outpatient treatment. 57 people were discharged from hospitals for a day. Total - 1249 people were discharged for the whole period.
