Almost one thousand coronavirus patients stay in Bashkiria hospitals

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 971 patients with the coronavirus infection are currently being treated in hospitals of the republic. Of these, 60 people are in serious condition, 17 of whom are connected to lung ventilators.

According to the Deputy Minister of Health of the region, Irina Kononova, 1,228 people are treated on an outpatient basis.

Over the past day, 54 people have been discharged from hospitals. A total of 1,192 people have been discharged since the outbreak of the coronavirus in the region.

According to the deputy head of the Ministry of Health, the prevalence of infection in the republic continues to remain at level 1 at a standard rate of 1.09.

“This suggests that the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is gradually reducing,” added Irina Kononova.

Recall that the number of patients with the coronavirus in Bashkiria reached 3 409 people by June 2.
