Rospotrebnadzor allowed Russians not to wear masks on beaches

In the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Russians do not need to wear masks on the beaches, but they will have to observe the distance. The Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova told about this in the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program on the "Russia 1" channel. The host of the program Pavel Zarubin posted an announcement of the interview on his Instagram.
"We have not offered and not offering to wear masks on the beach, but there should be a distance between people who are not family members. There must be a social distance, this is also necessary on the beach," said the head of the department.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, in Ufa, the other day preparations began for the 2020 swimming season. Rescuers are already examining and cleaning the bottom of those reservoirs where official beaches will be located. This year, the city plans to open nine beaches. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start dates for the season may be delayed.
