Vladimir Putin suggested starting State Exams on June 29

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed starting the Unified State Exam (USE) from June 29.
“Given the steady reduction in the coronavirus epidemic threat, I consider it necessary to conduct the Unified State Examination across the country. It will begin on June 29,” Putin stated during a meeting in a video conference on the situation in the education system, the RBC television channel reported.
The head of the country noted that schools should help graduates prepare for exams remotely. He also recalled that this year the exam would be taken only by those planning to go to universities after school. It is reported that certificates will be issued to all graduates.
Enrollment in universities will take place in August. Those who will not be able to take the exam in June will take it in August to the remaining places in universities and start their studies in September. The induction into the military service of this year’s graduates will be postponed.
