Bashinform News Agency became citation leader in I quarter 2020

The Bashinform News Agency headed the rating of media resources in Bashkiria for the first quarter of 2020 with a citation index of 363.80, according to the Medialogia company. The second place went to the Bashkortostan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company - 75.48, the third to Gorobzor.ru - 74.35. Also, the top five includes Ufa1.ru - 62.05, and the Kommersant - Bashkortostan newspaper - 53.22.

The rating is based on the media base of the Medialogia system, which includes more than 56 thousand of the most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, and online media. The study period covered January 1 - March 31, 2020.

When calculating the ratings, news aggregators and mutual cross-citation were not taken into account, the study explains.

The Bashinform New Agency is the undisputed leader in citation among the republican media. The agency headed the rating of media resources of Bashkiria also in 2019, in 2018, in 2017.
