Covid-19 cases increased by 94 people in Bashkiria

According to operational data, on May 18, 2155 cases of the coronavirus infection were detected in Bashkiria. During the day, they increased by 94 people, according to the website stopkoronavirus.ru.

The number of patients in the region at present is 1487, and 651 have recovered; no deaths from the coronavirus have been reported (17 people for the entire period).

Over the last day in Russia, 8,926 patients with the new coronavirus infection were detected in 81 regions. 2,836 people were discharged from hospitals.

In total, 290 678 cases were detected in 85 regions of the country; the number of recovered patients increased to 70 209 people. Also, 91 deaths were recorded per day. Over the entire period in Russia, 2,722 people died from the coronavirus, according to the operational headquarters for combatting the coronavirus infection.

According to the Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation, to date, more than 7.1 million laboratory tests have been conducted for the new coronavirus. Over the past day, 230.9 thousand tests were carried out for the Covid-19.

264 thousand 451 people stay under medical supervision in Russia as a whole.
