39 people with COVID-19 diagnosis remain in serious condition in Bashkiria

The Minister of Health RB Maxim Zabelin announced the new data on the coronavirus infection at the videoconference today. As of 8 am on May 14, 1784 cases of COVID-19 were recorded (+88 new patients).

580 of them are at hospitals, of which 49 are in satisfactory condition, 120 of moderate severity, 39 are in serious condition, and 11 people are connected to lung ventilators.

664 are on outpatient treatment, 56 people were discharged from hospitals (total 524).

1598 citizens of the republic are in 10 observation centers, 20 thousand people are sent home for self-isolation.

The shift workers are planned to arrive in the republic. Currently, 1,591 people have arrived from Sakha-Yakutia, and have been accommodated in eight observation centers.

More than 3 thousand beds of the first stage have been deployed in the region.

“Currently, treatment is mainly carried out on an outpatient basis at home, under the supervision of a physician from local clinics, treatment of severe and moderate patients is carried out in hospitals”, said Maxim Zabelin. “Besides, over 140 million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for drug therapy.”

Today, 288 doctors in the medical organizations of Bashkiria provide care to patients with the COVID-19, 618 paramedical personnel.
