Bashkiria will soon reach COVID-19 epidemic plateau

Researchers, having studied data on the development of the coronavirus epidemic in Bashkiria, predicted the republic would soon reach a plateau.

According to the website covid-forecast.ru, the peak of the epidemic has not been passed in the republic despite the fact that the daily number of new cases decreased on May 5 and 6. A slight decrease in the registration of new cases is explained by the work schedule of laboratories, both public and private, on weekends.

It is noticeable that immediately after the weekend, the number of newly recorded cases of the infection rose again to 80.

Bashkiria came close to the peak of the epidemic, which is expected to be in the period from May 11-12.

The presented graph of the cumulative number of active cases (all cases except for those who recovered and died), shows that the number of new infections is growing linearly, and the number of people recovered is already exponential.

This is a sign that Bashkiria will soon hit the plateau of the coronavirus epidemic.

The graph shows that since April 20, the number of recovered prevailed the number of deaths from the effects of the coronavirus, which is undoubtedly a positive trend in the epidemic development.

However, according to scientists, it is too early to ascertain that epidemic development has taken the opposite tendency. Researchers are considering optimistic and pessimistic forecasts. According to an optimistic forecast, on May 14, there will be 1834 patients in Bashkiria, according to a pessimistic scenario - 1840.
