USATU strengthens its global positions

Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) has risen 25 positions in the RUR ranking.

The results of the world ranking of universities Round University Ranking (RUR) are published. USATU took 675th line in it, having risen by 25 positions compared to last year (700).

The rating includes four Bashkir universities. The research partners Bashkir State Medical University BSMU (659) and USATU (675) were among leaders. The media have repeatedly cited their joint developments during the pandemic in the field of personal protective equipment and mathematical modeling. Bashkir State University and Ufa State Petroleum Technological University are located at 697 and 780 positions, respectively.

In total, the ranking of 2020 included 829 universities from 71 countries. The first two lines are traditionally occupied by Harvard University and the California Institute of Technology.

Of 82 Russian universities, the highest positions were taken by Moscow State University (97th place) - the diamond league, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (121), Tomsk State University (139), and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (151) - the gold league.

Round University Ranking is a global list of universities and the only international ranking whose operator (RUR agency) is based in Moscow. Within RUR there are several measurement groups and corresponding individual ratings: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, Financial Sustainability.
