Almost 5 million tests for COVID-19 were conducted in Russia

According to the Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation, as of May 8, over 4.98 million laboratory tests for the new coronavirus were carried out.

Over the past day, 184.2 thousand tests for the coronavirus were performed. As of May 8, 292 thousand 469 people remain under the supervision of medical professionals in Russia.

As of May 7, in Russia, the total number of cases reached 177 160 people, 23 803 people recovered, 1625 died.

In Bashkiria, as of May 7, 83 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered for a day, the total number of patients with the COVID-19 reached 1243 people.
