42% of Russians would rather work remotely after pandemic - VCIOM

The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VCIOM) asked Russians what innovations introduced during the fight against the pandemic should be preserved.
The Russians appreciated the opportunity to work remotely: 42% of respondents said that this opportunity should remain for office workers even after the epidemic would be over.
Many also believe that additional online education for adults should be supported after the pandemic (37%). One in three believes that in the future, it is necessary to expand the ability to view plays and exhibitions online (33%). 30% and 29% of Russians, respectively, voted for maintaining the possibility of obtaining online education in universities and schools.
At the end of April, every second (52%) said that it was necessary to keep and develop public services rendered in an online format. Almost the same share of Russians (50%) supported the further development of volunteering.
Thus, the survey showed that, according to Russians, some of the innovations that have become widespread in recent weeks should be kept after the epidemic too.
