Rospotrebnadzor named three stages of self-isolation regime canceling

The governors of Russian regions will be able to decide on a phased lifting the self-isolation regime after consultation with the chief sanitary doctors of the country's subjects, based on the growth rate of new cases of the coronavirus infection, free bed capacity for treating patients with COVID-19, and test coverage indicators. The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said this at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

At the first stage, the specialists of the Rospotrebnadzor propose that Russians be allowed to go in for sports outdoors, go for walks with children, open trade and services facilities of a limited area, but with social distance observing. At the second stage - it will be possible to walk with families, open retail outlets of a larger area with a limitation of the simultaneous servicing of visitors, to start schools, and kindergartens. In the third stage, parks, squares will be opened, subject to social distance, enterprises selling services without limiting the area, and the number of simultaneous services to visitors and customers, all schools, kindergartens, hotels, and public catering.

According to Popova, in the event of a worsening situation and a new wave of the new coronavirus incidence, regional leaders should again tighten their self-isolation regime.

Then Vladimir Putin emphasized that the overall coordination of all work on quarantine measures, the removal of restrictions, and the revitalization of the economy should be carried out by the Government of the Russian Federation. Recall that in Bashkiria, the high-alert mode was introduced by the decree of the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov from March 18, 2020. The self-isolation regime has been operating in the republic since March 31.
