Radiy Khabirov began to tell about doctors combatting COVID-19 on frontline

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov began to publish a series of stories in his social media about doctors of the republic, who work on the frontline combatting the new coronavirus infection. The Head of the Region began with the 42-year-old Alexander Shishigin, head of the radiology department at the Kuvatov’s Republican Clinical Hospital.

“During the first 14-day intensive shift, he conducted more than 1000 CT scans of patients with suspected coronavirus infection. He did more than 70 scans per day associated with radiation exposure. While, as usual, a doctor has no more than 30 patients for a shift,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Recall from April 6 to April 20, the Kuvatov’s Republican Clinical Hospital was in a strict lockdown for COVID-19. At the same time, more than 1000 medical staff and patients were in the medical facility. It was that hospital where a zero patient with the coronavirus was found.
