On the night of May 6, the flight SU-2143 of Aeroflot Airlines from Antalya landed at the Ufa International Airport. 21 residents of the republic and 72 representatives of other regions returned to Bashkiria.
All tourists who arrived at the Ufa airport with the support of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan were provided with hot meals and cold drinks.
Upon arrival, 55 people, including residents of Bashkiria, were sent to an observation center. Tourists from Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod regions, and Perm Territory were taken home by buses.
In total, 160 Russians took out the flight from Antalya. On the way to the capital of Bashkiria, the aircraft made an intermediate landing in Rostov-on-Don, where the state border regime was lifted, border and customs control procedures were carried out.
All measures were taken to prevent the import and spread of the coronavirus infection at the Ufa Airport.
Due to the situation with the coronavirus spread, Russia since March 27 completely closed the regular and charter international air service. Carriers can only make special flights on returning passengers home.
