182 mechanical lung ventilators will be purchased in Bashkiria

More than 2 billion rubles from the federal budget were allocated to Bashkiria to provide equipment for infectious hospitals.

By order of the Government of the Russian Federation, two tranches in the amount of 1.2 billion and 831 million rubles will be directed to the budget of the republic.

With these funds, an oxygen supply system will be arranged, the hospital bed capacity will be re-equipped to help patients with the coronavirus, and personal protective equipment will be purchased, the regional Ministry of Health reported.

Contracts for the supply of equipment in the amount of 861.7 million rubles are already signed.

Contracts for 341.3 million rubles are at the conclusion stage.

It is planned to purchase 182 ventilators, 100 oxygen concentrators, 28 fiberoptic bronchoscopes, 51 mobile X-ray machines, 51 ultrasound machines, 22 plasma sterilizers, 35 devices for determining blood gases, 223 patient monitors, 35 hematological analyzers, 8 computer tomographs and more.
