Author of English anthem of FC Ufa told about everyday life of Italians during quarantine

In 2015, Maria Luisa (Marilu) Pensabene wrote the English-language anthem for the Ufa football club. A native of Italian Palermo in her youth was a fan of the Soviet and Russian football player, and then the coach of FC Ufa Igor Kolyvanov. In her exclusive interview with the Bashinform News Agency, Marilu spoke about Italy in 2020, as well as about her everyday life during this challenging period.

When asked if she was following the FC Ufa games, Marilu said that she was always aware of what was happening with Ufa.

“I know that your player Olivier Till was suspected of being infected, but later the test gave a negative result. I also read that Roma was interested in signing up your Romanian Nedelcharu. Ufa certainly has some good players. I think your club has good tactics and cohesion. It is pleasantly surprising how your team has maintained its good position during all these years, given that the club was born relatively recently, ”said Marilu Pensabene.
