The Infectious Disease Center, which is being built in the village of Zubovo, Ufa district, will be in the form of kurai flower, the project architect Andrei Starikov informs.

“In this project, we tried to implement the concept of “architecture that heals,” he said. “Through the architectural solutions, we wanted to reduce the stress level of arriving patients, to show that exactly in this institution with all the achievements of modern medicine, they would receive the necessary help. We know that the symbol of the republic is kurai. When this solution was proposed, it was discussed with the medical community”.

Buildings for the future hospital will be made of light steel thin-walled structures.

In general, this medical institution will meet all sanitary standards and rules that apply to infectious disease hospitals. But despite the fact that the building will be dismountable, it can serve for tens of years. The manufacturer gives a guarantee of 50 years.

The official date for the commissioning of the temporary clinical diagnostic Infectious Disease Center is June 25. But the builders intend to put the facility into operation a month ahead of schedule - by May 25, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
