Ufa emergency hospital was closed due to patient with suspected COVID-19

On April 8, an emergency hospital was closed for sanitary cleaning in Ufa. This was reported by the chief physician of the medical institution Irina Karamova.

“We have identified a patient with suspected COVID-19. This patient, in accordance with the instructions, was transferred to an infectious diseases hospital. According to routing, we will redirect all other patients of the hospital to other medical organizations in the city of Ufa,” the head of the hospital said.

According to Irina Karamova, after sanitary cleaning, the hospital will continue its regular operation.

Earlier it was reported that 16 cases of infection with a new coronavirus were confirmed in Bashkiria. Six patients recovered.
