People number with suspected coronavirus has increased to 142 in Bashkiria, of which 10 are children

According to current data, there are 142 people, including ten minors, with suspected coronavirus in Bashkiria at 13:00 on April 9. The Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin stated this at a daily briefing of the Ministry of Health RB.

“6 new cases of confirmed coronavirus infection were registered; in total, six people were discharged with recovery. The hospitalized with a confirmed diagnosis are in the hospital, one person in self-isolation under strict quarantine. All necessary medical assistance is provided in full,” the Minister said.

The chief physician of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology RB Anna Kazak said that the number of tests was growing, private companies were getting involved. 13652 laboratory tests for coronavirus were performed in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

“1133 people were examined with the signs of acute respiratory viral infections”, said Anna Kazak, “1715 healthy people and more than 900 people with pneumonia were examined. Currently, work is ongoing to identify people contacted with patients”.
