Spouse of Head RB Karine Khabirova became coronavirus hotline volunteer

On April 6, the wife of the Head of Bashkortostan, Karine Khabirova, worked as a volunteer in the headquarters of medical volunteers to prevent coronavirus infection. Along with students, she took calls, talked with residents of the republic, and formed requests for the food products purchase.

Volunteers will deliver the orders already today, and will also give pensioners bouquets from the flower shop, which sends them daily for self-isolated elderly and disabled residents of the city.

Since March 23, Bashkir State Medical University volunteers have already managed to help 374 older adults. To date, 15 volunteers are involved in the call center of Bashkir State Medical University, 50 volunteers make visits to the elderly every day. All volunteers are trained on the dobro.ru portal and immediately before work. All volunteers are provided with personal protective equipment: masks, gloves, antiseptics.

The hotline operates as part of the #WeTogether campaign to support people who are in quarantine and self-isolation, as well as elderly and low-mobility citizens. About 100 calls are received daily on the hotline, about 50 visits are made per day upon request.
